8U Winter Tournament Team
We are excited to introduce the Michigan Jr. Wolverines 8U Winter Tournament Team! This team is designed to give young players the chance to compete in a fun and challenging environment while focusing on skill development, teamwork, and the fundamentals of the game. Coached by Tom Creal, our 8U team will prepare for several competitive tournaments this Winter, providing an excellent opportunity for players to grow both on and off the ice. Whether your player is seeking additional ice time or looking to experience new coaching styles, our Winter team is the perfect fit.

Skill Level: A/AA
When
Our program is scheduled for the last weekend of January through February 2025.
Where
We will be attending the Grinder Tournament, scheduled for the last weekend of January in Cleveland, Ohio.

Practices
The team will participate in scrimmages and have several practices, before our tournament(s).
Focus and Development
The focus of our Michigan Jr. Wolverines 8U Tournament Team is centered on developing fundamental hockey skills such as skating, puck handling, passing, and shooting, all while fostering a love for the game. In addition to individual skill development, players will work on teamwork, communication, and game strategy through competitive play in various tournaments. Our coaching staff prioritizes creating a positive and supportive environment where players can build confidence, improve hockey IQ, and develop a strong work ethic both on and off the ice. This experience will not only enhance their abilities but also set the foundation for future success in the sport.
